Arturo Rondon (Art) is the lead vocalist and songwriter of UnoBand. He is a Music Digital Audio Arts major at the University of Lethbridge, self-learner of the guitar and takes private Cuatro lessons (a four-string Venezuelan folk instrument) with iconic Latin Grammy winner Jorge Glem. He recently started his own endeavour as Cuatro instructor for beginners. Art has been part of various vocal ensembles, including the Opera Workshop at the University of Lethbridge and the UofL Singers and received formal vocal training with Soprano Gloria Alvarez. He has also been involved in community musical activities and was co-founder of Cantares Choir and La Parranda ensemble (dedicated to cultural diffusion in Calgary); participating in regional and international choral festivals. Art has collaborated as a singer with various local bands at gigs and festivals in town. With a solid experience in live performances, he is UnoBand’s frontman and is a natural at connecting with its audience.
